Exposition will resume Tuesday 2nd February 2016 after 9.30am Mass. St Anthony’s Church, Seatoun Weekdays 9am Mon, Tues, Weds Weekends 8.30am Sunday (Good Shepherd Hall) 10am Sunday (St Anthony’s Church) Holy Cross Church, Miramar Weekdays 9am Thurs, Fri, Sat Weekend 9am Sunday Notice to all Special Ministers for Sunday Mass at Holy Cross Church From Sunday the 27th December through until Sunday 31st January inclusive there will be one Mass only at Holy Cross Church. This will be at 9am on Sundays. The roster for special ministers at the usual 8am and 10am Masses has already been published for this holiday period so we ask that you use your discretion and fill in at the 9am Mass where appropriate and as required. St Anthony's School is pleased to announce that Miss Davinia Penman has been appointed to be the Year 3/4 Teacher at St Anthony's, commencing Term 1 2016. Davinia has been the Year 3 teacher at St Benedict’s School in Khandallah this year. She brings with her a strong Catholic faith, passion for Music, ability in ICT, and a gentle and caring nature. We feel that Davinia will be an asset to our school. The Staff and I are looking forward to working with Davinia and I know that she is excited to be joining our Community next year. Jennifer Ioannou Principal Gascoigne Scholarship recipients: We would like to congratulate the three recipients of our scholarship this year. They are Michael Kenna Bachelor who will be studying Creative Media Production at Massey University, Clare Sullivan who will be studying Health Science at Otago University and Kelly Feaunati who will be studying a Bachelor of Nursing Pacific at Whitireia. Kelly is from Good Shepherd and Michael and Clare are from St Patricks. We wish them well in their studies for the coming year. St Patrick’s Hall and Parish Centre will be closed for planned maintenance from the 24th December and reopen on 1st February 2016. We would like to wish you all a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. St Vincent de Paul Society Seatoun & MIramar Conference warmly thanks our parishioners, St Anthony's and Holy Cross Schools, and New World Miramar, for your compassionate generosity in donating food, toiletries, gifts, treats and cash. Food boxes were delivered on Friday 18 December 2015 to 55 most needy families across our area in the spirit of reaching out to bring your concern and Christ's love to neighbours who are struggling. We also wish all our helpers and supporters in the Holy Trinity Parish a peaceful Christmas.
