Our Youth Pastoral Worker, Alivia Bowe, has left to take up a full time position which will enable her to complete her registration as a counsellor and we wish her every success. We thank her for all her hard work with the young people in our Parish, including youth, young adults, and with the Primary and Secondary Schools in our area. A note to all parishioners that Leona Foster is taking a well-deserved break and is on holiday until the middle of next year. St Anthony’s Children will be making their First Holy Communion on the 22nd November at the 10am Mass. Please keep them in your prayers. CHRISTMAS CARDS". St Vincent de Paul Society Christmas cards are on sale now after Sunday Masses at Holy Cross, St Anthony's and St Patrick's churches. Religious-theme cards "Keeping Christ in Christmas", $2.50 per pack of 5 cards with envelopes. Proceeds to our local SVdP Conference activities. St. Anthony's and Good Shepherd invite new applicants for the Ministries of the Word; Communion; to the Sick. Especially - but not only - we are looking for our younger people to come forward. Please ring Julie Marshall 3888-644; or email [email protected] Altar Linen washing Holy Cross Church – New volunteers are needed to wash the altar linen used at weekday and Sunday Masses. If we have enough, then only be 2 consecutive weeks once or twice a year. The linen is collected after 10 am Mass on a Sunday and returned the next week. Come along and join us at our Ethnic Food Fair and sample some of the home-made delicious delicacies, representing the rich diversity of cultures amongst our community. Life Teen Our Alive & Dangerous series kicks off. Each one of us was created from love, for love, to love. We are looking for people to join the Life Teen Core for 2016, no age limit. It is a fantastic way to grow in your faith and serve at the same time. We will help you develop new skills and you will enjoy community. At St Patrick’s Church Envelopes are available in the foyer. Because of the large number of names, we will only print anniversaries or recent. All names will be remembered in Masses offered during November.
