​BRINGING PARISH AND SCHOOL COMMUNITIES CLOSER - A Positive Change Initiative for the Holy Cross Church Family Mass. Last Sunday was the last 10am Mass to be held down at the School Hall for this year but these will resume again in February 2016. Details to follow in due course.

Altar Linen washing Holy Cross Church – New volunteers are needed to wash the altar linen used at weekday and Sunday Masses. If we have enough, then only be 2 consecutive weeks once or twice a year. The linen is collected after 10 am Mass on a Sunday and returned the next week. Please contact Parish Office on 388 6953 or [email protected] before 23 November.
ETHNIC FOOD FAIR FRIDAY 27TH NOVEMBER 5.30-7.30pm ST. PATRICK’S PRIMARY SCHOOL Cuisines from all over the world! Come along and join us at our Ethnic Food Fair and sample some of the home-made delicious delicacies, representing the rich diversity of cultures amongst our community.

CHRISTMAS CARDS. St Vincent de Paul Society Christmas cards are on sale now after Sunday Masses at Holy Cross, St Anthony's and St Patrick's churches. St Vincent de Paul Society Foodbank Collection Warm thanks to those Holy Trinity parishioners who responded by shopping at Pak N' Save Supermarket Kilbirnie on Saturday 14 Nov 2015 and to the SVDP members and supporters who collected the food items and cash donations there to boost our foodbank stocks at the SVDP Centre Newtown and your local Conferences. Your generous compassion will reach out to help most needy people in the Eastern Suburbs with emergency food at their difficult times over the next few months. God bless you.
Holy Hour You are invited to a Holy Hour on Tues 24 Nov beginning at 7.30 pm in the Cathedral chapel to pray for vocations to the priesthood and religious life. This Holy Hour will include prayer, Scripture, times of silence and conclude with Benediction followed by supper.
